Early Intervention for Toddlers & Late Talkers
Let’s work together to help your child communicate in daily routines! Through play-based therapy and parent coaching, your child will express their needs and wants, understand what they are told, grow their vocabulary, and gain confidence.
From ages 1-4, children experience rapid growth and development. We make the most of this critical period by laying a strong foundation for language that will last a lifetime!
Speech Therapy for Articulation and Stuttering
Does your child have difficulty making a certain speech sound or speaking clearly? Have they started stuttering?
We will identify your child’s unique challenges and help them master their sounds in speech therapy using motivating activities. Not only does stuttering therapy focus on fluent speech and helpful strategies, but it also supports self-advocacy, boosts confidence, and addresses how loved ones can help.
Receptive & Expressive Language Therapy
Language therapy is highly personalized depending on the age, needs, and strengths of your child.
Our goal is to create a language-rich environment to support your child in developing a variety of skills needed for academic success— including listening, speaking, reading, writing, and socializing. Regardless of their current skills, we will help them become a confident communicator at home, school, and in the community!

Paula Richardson, M.Ed., CCC-SLP
Owner, Speech-Language Pathologist
Paula is a pediatric speech therapist and mother of three young children. She is passionate about creating strong support systems to help children communicate and grow into their most confident selves. She strives to make therapy sessions family-centered, effective, and fun!
With over 15 years of experience working with children of all ages in local school settings, Paula founded Ogden Valley Speech Therapy to offer her services locally. As a resident of the beautiful Ogden Valley, she feels incredibly fortunate to serve her community by supporting children in their communication development. She gives her clients the tools they need to succeed in therapy and in life and loves celebrating them as they take small steps toward their BIG potential.
Outside of work, you will find Paula listening to audiobooks and podcasts, thrift shopping, gardening, making gluten-free goodies, and spending time with her family.

We provide home-based speech and language services to families in Huntsville, Eden, & Liberty, UT. Online services available throughout the state of Utah.
Step One
Contact us for a free phone consultation! You can talk to the speech therapist, share your concerns, and ask any questions you may have. Your child’s first session may be scheduled at this time.
Step TWO
Your speech therapist will visit your home and complete a speech and language evaluation to identify your child's strengths and needs. You will receive a written report with the results and clinical recommendations.
Step THREE
A personalized therapy plan will be created based on your family’s priorities and your child’s areas of need. Then, we will meet weekly to work toward your child’s goals in speech therapy — all from the comfort of home!
Insurance & Billing
Ogden Valley Speech Therapy is currently accepting private pay clients only. Payment is required at the completion of each therapy session. Reach out to learn more about our affordable service rates!
